A charming 6 room estate, constructed in 1929 in the French Baronial style. Our award-winning gardens are situated directly next to the West River and miles of walking trails, we’re also a five-minute walk from the downtown Brattleboro historical district, with all the shopping, theaters, and fine restaurants it has to offer.
The gardens were planted at the time the house was built and were originally maintained as part of the therapy program for patients at the Brattleboro Retreat. The back yard boasts one of the largest Cut Leaf Japanese Maple trees in the United States and overlooks the “Retreat Meadows.”
