We Are
Vermont.

Milton Vermont is a town located in Chittenden County, in the "Burlington" region of the state. Local legend says the town was named for a blind English poet, John Milton, but others say it was probably named for William Fitzwilliam, 4th Earl Fitzwilliam, who held the title of Viscount Milton.

Some noted residents of Milton include: George Allen, noted clergyman & academic; John G. Haskell, architect who designed Kansas public buildings including the Kansas State Capitol; and George J. Stannard, Civil War era general.
