Chelsea, Vermont is a town in Orange County, and is the Shire Town of Orange County, located in the "Woodstock-Quechee" region of the state. The town is made unique by the two commons, or greens, located in town.

Some noted residents of Chelsea included Vermont Governor F. Ray Keyser Jr, Vermont Governor & Senator William A. Palmer, Wisconsin Senator William Freeman Vilas, and Congressman John Young.
