Brookfield is a town in Orange County, in the "Woodstock-Quechee" region.

Brookfield is best known for its floating bridge which spans Sunset Lake buoyed by pontoons. It's the only floating bridge east of the Mississippi River. As of September 2010, the floating bridge was closed for repairs and rebuilt and reopened in 2015.
